FAQs

What does a chiropractor do?

Chiropractors focus on treating and managing conditions related to the musculoskeletal system (muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, joints), which can include neck, back, jaw, and extremity pain; headaches; sports injuries.

I personally utilize different types of hand-on therapies including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, acupuncture, in addition to rehab exercises.

What should I expect from my first appointment?

The first appointment will include a thorough history & physical assessment. I will be asking you a lot of questions and doing different physical tests in order to get a better idea of what could be going on and the best way to go about treatment & management. It will also include chiropractic treatment and rehab exercises/stretches.

If a new patient is under 18 years old, a legal parent/guardian must be present at the first appointment to sign consent forms.

What do I need for my first visit?

Please make sure you have your online Intake Form filled out & submitted prior to your appointment. If you did not add in your insurance information while completing the online intake form, please bring that information to your appointment. If you have any relevant imaging results (X-ray, ultrasound, MRI) pertaining to your complaint, please bring a copy of that to your appointment.

What should I wear for my appointment?

This will depend on the area of your body we are assessing. Generally, a loose fitting shirt & athletic shorts are preferred. Shorts can be provided if needed.

Do I need to book a New Patient visit if I have seen you at a previous clinic?

If you have seen me for chiropractic care at a previous clinic in the past 3 years, you do not need to book a New Patient visit.

However, I do ask that you fill out and submit the online Intake Form prior to your appointment with me at Lei Chiropractic. Please add your insurance information online or bring that information to your appointment. You will also be required to sign updated consent forms at the time of your appointment.

If a returning patient is under 18 years old, a legal parent/guardian must be present at the appointment to sign updated consent forms.

Do you Direct Bill?

Yes, I offer direct billing to most insurances. Please bring your insurance information to your appointment if you have not updated it online. If I don’t direct bill to your specific insurance company, you can self-submit to your insurance.

Do you work with WCB claims?

No, I do not work with WCB claims. However, I can refer you to other clinics that can.

What is your No Show policy?

After a patient no shows once (not showing up to their appointment and not contacting me ahead of time), they will be charged the full amount for every missed appointment after that.

I get it- life happens and things can come up out of nowhere! If you cannot make it to your appointment, please contact me to let me know and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

Where are you located?

The entrance is on South Railway Street right beside the public bus entry & exit. I am located inside Endure Sports & Wellness.

Have any other questions? Feel free to send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
